Autumn and winter

Autumn and winter was a project in the second half of 2018. I've spend many early mornings in and near the woods of the Meetjesland region in Belgium, mainly in Maldegemveld in Knesselare and Maldegem, Drongengoedbos in Ursel, Maldegem and Knesselare and Het Leen in Eeklo. I went to different places in autumn to focus on the colours of the autumn and came back to these places in winter to focus on the sadness and greyness of winter, emphasizing it by taking pictures in black and white and in an upright position. Here you see the pictures of twelve locations in both autumn and winter. All I did was turn around a bit or step aside.
